Analysis: It has been proven that an assault on a city is ineffective in small numbers. Strikeforce was ill equipped for ground assault _and/or_ stealth mission.

Objective: Gather intelligence about attack on city

Fullfillment: 20%
Description: Gather information about who and what attacked the city and their current whereabouts
Recommendation: Interrogation of city officials, analysis of structural damage to city, roaming search for hostile craft and engine traces in space
Status (reason): On hold (War)
Execution (substatus): Sensor analysis (success), personal inspection of damage (success), Killing every uninformed civilian or military personnel until someone shows up who knows something. (failed)
Analysis: Extensive damage to city superstructure seems to originate from an orbital space vessel using siege weapons of imperial design. Sensors did not pick up any signs of this vessel in planetary range. Time of attack is still unknown. City sustained severe damage to technical infrastructure. Shield reactors seem to be fluctuating energy. Radioactivity rising. Weapon systems intact but inactive.
Hostile interrogations did not yield satisfactory results and actually prevented any further persecution of this objective.

Analysis: Merianon was, against all odds, not where we left it.
